Ohneka is proud to announce that the percussionist, Mélissa Lavergne will be the spokesperson of its second edition!
Three times during the summer, July 12, August 6 September 3, the audience is invited to move to the beat of djembe of Melissa Lavergne and Bélébélé in an original composition which will open the regular projection of Ohneka.
ShowProject and its creationSalaberry-de-Valleyfield has always shown foresight in the development of its nautical tourism. Water is an ever-present theme, and both the regatta and the reopening of the old Beauharnois channel are examples of this. Our challenge was to find an event that gathered around the theme of water, but that would also focus on the rich maritime heritage of the area and its major role in history. This is the idea that gave birth to a theatrical and nautical multimedia project that would allow citizens and tourists to reconnect with the area’s maritime history in an original way. |
